I am ready!!

Finally done with my packing, will bring 2 luggage, 1 hand carry, 1 laptop bag, too much thing huh?

It's for 6 mths, and this time not going to stay in a hotel / service apartment, need to find out an apartment to stay after get there, our boss instructed us that we must settle this within 2 weeks.

So, it's lot's more to bring this time. I even pack the iron, some hanger with me this time. Just in case the apartment does not provide this, and I don't think I will buy it for 6 mths usage, so just bring over and see how's thing going on lah. If so lucky that the apartment is very well equipped, then I will bring these things back some where around Oct. I think I should be back at least once within this 6 mths.

So.... 'see' you when I'm in Frankfurt!!

always a little bit late ...

Was looking hard for something to buy from the market, but too bad recently whenever i found something interesting, the next day, price is going up.
It's never within my budget. And i worry once i made the deal, price will drop. So still kind of stuck now.

nvm, i am patient, i got some spare money, Chinese proverb said: 'when the mountain is here, don't need to worry can't light up the fire' :D

i shall wait... wait the turning down trend..

but i think there must be something i missed out, that cause me always late in action, some hidden information that i not able to digest soon enough to take action... hmmm...

very bad lifestyle

i have very bad lifestyle recently
- arrived home around 7.30 p.m
- after bath, reading papers and etc, take a nap
- then this nap always out of expectation

today i goes to bed about 9 p.m, and wake up at 12 a.m. -_-!!!
So now, I am not feeling sleepy at all.

Tomorrow this bad cycle will be back again since it is just few hours to the next morning

Weekend, is like never enough sleep ...

I think need some exercise, i leave my jogging shoes in the corner for quite long time liao, time to pick it up again, but .... just some how feeling very lazy about everything recently ....

i am getting frustrated with myself also lah ... i am a celaka!

Counting down to Frankfurt - part 3 - power adapter

I bought different adapter for different plug from different country.
It is very messy with all these adapters, not convenient if you need to go different places where so happen the plug is different.

So I was thought of those all-in-one super adapter. Saw one in the Citibank rewards, brand Konnext, looks very good. The redemption point is 18500, which is equivalent to RM 92.50 (200 points = RM 1). Very expensive huh? But from the design, it really look very neat and good quality lor.

Checks with the reseller, they response that it is selling at Viewnet/All IT/ Harvey Norman outlet. But too bad MidValley only has the Ace Hardware, so finally I bought this cheaper one, cost RM 19.90, obviously, it doesn't look as nice as the Konnext brand lah.

Counting down to Frankfurt - part 2 - money

Heard Germany is not too common to use credit card, it is their nature that they do not like to use credit, but debit/cash, and they do save a lot. Maybe this is the reason it is the 'dai goh' for Europe now, I means from the economy stability wise. The nature of saving had protected them from the credit crisis.

So, I decided to use this way to support my daily expenses there:
- exchange some cash
- bring the credit card, also the debit card that I just get it from MBB today

MBB VISA debit card

VISA debit card is very similar to ATM card, all transactions will deduct money directly from your bank account. Debit card can be used to withdraw money from ATM machine, also those those merchants (shops) that has the VISA logo with it. So basically it can be use more widely as compare to ATM card lah.

No extra charges as compare to ATM card, except there is RM 12 charges to switch the card. The maybank2u a/c is remains the same with this new card also.

Counting down to Frankfurt - part 1 - the list

It is 6 mths assignment to Frankfurt, and entitle a return trip for every 2 mths. But anyway I think at most I will come back once in between, it is long flight, I do not have much leave balance (rather save it for my CNY next year), also it would be better idea to explore the Europe instead of coming back (hopefully can have short weekend break once in a bi-weekly)

So, try to sorting out what need to be prepare/done before the trip on 1st Aug (it is just another 6 days before the trip!)

1. Money
2. Power adapter
3. Settle my outstanding errands, and plan those routine thing needs to be done every month
4. Some shopping from pharmacy, groceries, and maybe i really need to get another new h/p, my 5 yrs old h/p seems like sort sort dei recently :(
5. hair cut :p
6. and yes, call back hometown to tell parent about this
7. anything else? hmm.....

Had you register?

A friend post a soft reminder about registration as a voter, then I realize coming election, if I didn't vote, then I had skipped the 3rd election which I am qualify to do so, very bad citizen huh?

btw, is this a signal next election is coming? I remember the last election, I was in Dalian, it is just 2 yrs ago. It suppose to be at most 5 years for each election, but I don't think it will be so fast this time right, only about 3 yrs then we will have another election?

hmmm... so I think from time frame wise, maybe I still can drag a bit, problem is, my I.C is still with my hometown address, should I change it so that I can vote in a place that I really stay in? Something to consider more...

VISA is finally approved

Finally my long waited trip to Frankfurt had confirm, will fly there by 1st Aug 2010 (Sunday).

Collected my VISA from the Germany embassy yesterday(23rd July), although I heard about the VISA status from the Europe side that it had been approved on Monday, but the embassy here never call me to pick it up. They told they will call, but the fact is I have to call twice to confirm that it is ready to collect.

Cool counter, officer speaking un-friendly thru the counter, never see a smile on their face, no response with your email inquiry, tell you NOT to call, they will call you and etc.
This is my real experience with the embassy. I don't know if this is true for all Germany embassy around the world, or it is our Malaysian attitude that works there give me such a bad experience.
Tell me why I have to feel like I am begging your help? I thought I am going there with a good work reason, then of course I will spend some money to help your economy, then why not you show me a welcome face??

In fact, I don't have any good experience with the embassy offices I went before, all officer showing me cocky face. Just feeling ridiculous about this.

T-shirt cost USD 76, will you buy it?

Come across this web site and found the t-shirt is very cute. It is Korean based company, and I am very surprise about the price.

How come a simple T-shirt cost so much??
Some can even up to USD 76! Only T-shirt leh, RM 76 also is consider very expensive for me, and this is in USD!

Means Korean do have more spending power?
I heard that they like branded thing, but I don't know it is common till T-shirt can goes up such high price, really wonder what make the spending culture this big different with us...

but, the t-shirt really very cute and look nice lah, i like the rugby-t, duck one very much :p

Will find a day within this week to visit there, hopefully it will be not much problem

一直觉得很奇怪为什么我的MPSJ bill 还没寄来, 今天整理信件时, 才突然想起其实我还没把改名手续办好, 就是所谓的 pindah milik hak.

现在过了6月30日了, 被罚款约10元, 有点心疼, 但是我发现了更大的 trouble!
那3年前 MPSJ 的 bill 后面写着, 任何移交需在 3 个月内通知 MPSJ, 不然会被罚款 RM2000, 或坐牢 6 个月, 或两者兼施. 我的妈呀, 我不是完蛋啦 ???!!!!!

hmm... 但是这好像是针对卖方, 明天打个电话问问, 希望我能不被任何惩罚的情况下, 把东西转到我的名字和邮寄地址, 要不然明年我又会糊里糊涂的被罚款了...

after so many years, i still stuck with the same old behaviour, the bad behaviour...

a very bad start of the day, being late to work, after 1 hour still not able to concentrate on real work (although no real assignment yet, i should have find myself something to learn...)

today is my 'first day after 33 years old', i know i should have change the start late behaviour for many many yrs already, but till now it is still mission impossible. I tried, and I just fail after certain days of being start to work on-time.

i like to sleep, the more i sleep, the more i want to sleep ... -_-!!!
this kind of attitude how can be rich neh ╮(╯▽╰)╭ 惨咯，人生没啥希望了！

没广告, 它的利润哪来呢?

这问题在我脑袋很久了, 它时不时蹦出脑袋, 但是我一直没想懂.

你说这星xx报是怎么赚取利润的呢?

它不像中x报, 或英文的星报, 这些报章都要一大版的买卖广告特刊.
我一直以为广告是主要利润来源, 但是有一天我突然发现这星xx报竟然只有区区那几页可有可无的广告版, 然后这问题就在我脑袋盘旋不去了.

要说是星xx报的销量好, 我觉得中x报也不差啊, 所以星xx报不能以垄断市场的销量而保证利润啊...

你说, 这到底是什么支撑它的利润呢?
我不是说它没广告不好, 只是我真的搞不懂它的经济模式, 好奇怪耶, 你们能指点一下不?

(上周培训遇到了台湾人, 被他的'哦, 耶, 啊'给影响了.
告诉你哦, 和那位仁兄谈天时, 我还以为马先生在我面前了, 真的很逗!)
