I had back to my home land on last week, but only update this blog now, after 1 week. It's just too bz at home, there are much more things to do after work other than updating blog :p.
So, my training trip had over, I had been away from home for 2 months plus, not too long, but I feel my cantonese/mandarin speaking speed was 'reduced', dun think it's becoz of getting old, but really didn't talk much in London there.
I have capture some nice orchid picture while I wait for transit at Singapore Changi Airport. But I forgot the place name already.. is it call KOI pond?? my memory is realy getting bad, sign of getting old.. :p
The album is in here
This blog now is officially closed now. Hope it will have chance to have new chapter after this. Thanks for you all reading and support. C u. Or, any suggestion what to blog??

Bath @ 16th April 06
This place has a very special name, Bath. It is a city in South West England, which most famous for its baths fed by three hot springs. Its residents style themselves 'Bathonians'.
Only royal members can enjoy their bathing at this beautiful place last time. Now, with 10 pound, you can visit the place for 2 hours.
See there are ladders on left and right side of the church, and there are angels are climbing up at those ladders.

Oxford @ 14th April 06
Another U-city. After Cambridge, I think it's good idea to visit Oxford as well to complete so call the world most famous U visit (at least in UK).
Oxford is much bigger and commercial town as compare to Cambridge. If you are a Harry Potter movie fans, maybe you will find some of the photos in my album look familiar...the Christ Church college dinner room is one of the place where that movie take it shooting. Lewis Carroll is the pseudonym for Charles Dodgson, a maths don at Christ Church, he had wrote the 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' which is famous around the world as well.

Cambridge @ 8th April 06
Cambridge city is an Univercity city. There are 31 colleges in Cambridge U, each of them is a separate building in the town. This U is the best among the world, it's worth to pay a visit.
For cost saving, I decided to take coach to visit this place. It only cost £10.50 for a return ticket. So, I think this is really cheap. Only bad thing about coach is that, it's slower than train. It take 2 hours to travel from London to Cambridge.
With the map on hand, I started to walk around.
1st, I visited King's college. Admission fee: £4.50.
It's famous of it's late Gothic chapel, this is the most famous sight in Cambridge. I didn't really remember the fact exactly, you can find out more details history about the King's College here. The chapel really very very impressive, especially the roof. It's not allowed to take photo in the chapel, sorry I don't have anything to show here except it's 'outlook'.
Keep walking along the way of King's college, I found the River Cam, where it's famous for punting - a unique style of boating here.
There are few punting hiring service in the town, the cheapest is £10 for an adult for aprox. 45 mins. There is a very nice lady, offered me the student price £8 [although I tell the truth that I am not a student anymore], but it's still too expensive for me, so, I only been there to take photo, but not enjoy it myself.
And this is the King's Parade, the road. As you see, it's very small road in the town, and it's make from brick.
2nd, Fitzwilliam Museum. Free Admission. This is an art museum in the town, I don't know why ends up I had spend too much time in this place, it was late evening after I get out from the museum.
I feel a bit regret actually, cause there is no more time for me to visit the Trinity College, which Sir Issacc Newton was study there before. I just manage to snap some photos for those remaining colleges.
Some one just married!
There are more photos at here. My Flikr account again hit's the limit, can't upload the whole album. So, it's end up I upload photos here and there, messy.

Rock And Sole Plaice @ Convent Garden, 7th April 06
Again, heard people told Rock And Sole Plaice, Traditional English Fish & Chip is very famous restaurant in London. It was established at 1871, means it's now 135 years old!I believe with this long history, and it's still able to run their business, there must be something very special about their food.
So, on last Friday (5th April 06), I get my KL colleague here to show me the place. I want to give it a try, although I actually NEVER try any fish and chip in KL, I just don't like fish/seafood that much :p
We arrive the shop around 8 pm, it's was very clouded. The shop is very small, but luckily there still a place for us at the downstair. They had decorate downstair using underwater theme:
I had ordered the regular Halibut & Chip, but I had forgot what my colleague ordered, I just remember he ordered the first item in the menu :p
Here are the dishes:

and my Halibut
Look big?? Yeah.. it's really very big for me, although I only order the regular set. The Halibut has very 'thick' body, so, it's has more 'chewing' feel as compare to others fish. With the 'thick' body, it means it's not that crispy as well. So, it's up to personal taste whether it's nice or not when take it as fried fish.
Overall, the fish is tasting good, very fresh. But the chips is not crispy enough, and doesn't taste good, I don't feel the potato taste in it.
And I think the dishes was too big, until I feel very 'zai' after finished it. Yes, I finished it by my own, 'Fung' can eat! :D. My Halibut cost me £10. [ Dun know why I like to spell the fish name, Halibut..Halibut.. :D].
The shop has an official website, which I think it's a bit out of date. The menu is not the one I saw, but you can get some history information from it, and it has link for you to invest as well.

Hamley @ 2nd April 06
I went to Hamley to check out something for friend today. Hamley is basically a toy's city, it's much more bigger than the Toy R Us in KL. It has 6th floor, each floor for different interested, from pre-school until adult.
I had my mission done, just snap some photos from the shop here.
Frend....look familiar?? It cost £99.00 at Hamley :D

Camden Market @ April Fool
I didn't fool anybody during April Fool day this year :p, I vistted Camden town since there are lot's of people telling that it is a must visit place here.
So, by bus again, it take me 1.30 hour to travel there, traffic is very bad during weekend.
First impression about the place, many tatoo and body piercing shops there. So, no surprise, you will find lot's of people that have lips piercing, eyes piercing, nipple piercing (about this, I guess only, because all of them not showing the body to me) walk around you :p
Those shop likes to put the big sign on it to attract peoples. Here are some picture:
There are lot's of food stall there as well, you can have some food while you are hungry walking in the market. I bought nothing from the market...

Punkie
There are lots of different kinds of stall all along the road. You can find palmistry, astronology stall in this market as well. Ang Moh also like to 'count life' :p. Oh ya.. another quite common stalls are those selling wax and candle, those claims it used to burn to calm your spirit.
I found a stall quite funny, it sell things that made from the canned drink.

GMT + xx ??
For those who are used to PC, I think you should be familiar with term that GMT + 8 for MY and SG time. GMT = Greenwich Mean Time. On last Sunday [ 19 March 2006 ], I went to this place, Royal Observatory, Greenwich, which is located at Longitude 0° 0' 0". This is the place where all time zones are measured.
And this is the Prime Meridian, Longtitude 0' red line. Too bad the digital clock can't show the running time, the clock was start during the year of new milineum, year 2000.
Dun know how to call this thing, it point to our globe where the 0' located.
And the info, read it yourself
On coming Sunday [26 March 2006], London will adjust their time to British Summer Time [BST], which is GMT + 1, means it will be 7 hours delay from here start on that day.
After spending hours in this Royal Observatory, Greenwich. I continue my walk to few other places nearby, like the Queen house, National Maritime Museum, the Greenwich Univerysity and etc. Too bad that some of the place can't take photo [although I did 'curi-curi' for one of the place :p]. Here are some photos:
The Painted Hall in Greenwich University. Amazing painting work, where all wall was painted, included the pillar effect. Please check my photo in later link for more photos.
The roof of a church. The Chappel in the Greenwich Univerysite as well. Again, there are more in my albulm
More photo here. Let me know if you problem to access it. Too bad I had used up all quote this month. Can't upload any more images!! Let me get more advise from those expert ;). I had put some notes on the photo, see if you can find it!

More details here: http://www.st-patricks-day.com/index.asp
Some of my colleagues went to pub for lunch today, and they got free caps! Quite a nice cap.

'Fung' can cook !!
Dinner is a headache for me nowadays. There is no more prepared food when I reach home!! Now I know my sister was a wonderful person in my life :p.
So, sometimes I did cook here. But all of them is very simple food. Not as chef standard, but it's definately better than those chinese take away!
First, pepper + mushroom, the 'material'.
And one of my frend dun know what is the pepper ( 灯 笼 椒 ), here is it's look:
So, the cooking process, oil first ? salt first ? water first ?? Dun really care, all go by 'feel'. And finally this is the dishes I have. Look nice leh... :D
So, this is my dinner. Very simple but colorful dinner. The egg is in golden color, with the york being cooked just nice. I will give my egg 99.99%. But the pepper dish, I think it's overcook for 1 minute!! But still taste nice ;)
Sometime I cook pasta as well. This rather is very very simple. Basically NO skill at all. Just 'rebus' the pasta, then put on those ready made pasta source. That's it.

Work and Sleep place
I know this would be rather a slow update about the environment here, which it's already 1 mth over. But i believe in 'Late is better than nothing', so, here is the work place and my staying place :p
So, this is my office block. Block 10, Chiswick Park. As you can see from the picture, it's not a nice scene now, all trees are 'died', not greenish at all. I dun like view at all, hope it will be better during Spring.
The office building architecture is basically only glass + aluminium. It's a quiet place. Got gym, pub, cafeteria and class room in some other block. I personal think it's quite a good working place.
My office has 2 floor, I am sitting at the 1st floor, and here is my seat. It's still very early in the morning, not much people step in yet. It look very empty.
Hm.mmm..... finally my bedroom...
But................I prefer to keep my room private to myself :p. So, not going to show u the room, only show u all my 'neightbour' instead. :D. It's a cemetery!! Hantu~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ !!
