Know or not doesn't matter, gaya.. mesti ada

Well.. I am a no-believe poor gal, so, X'mas for me is really just a holiday.
How to pass my time in this cool winter is the main problem I need to figure out.

And I found it is true when you are too bored, spend money is one of the way to make you forget about your boring life. So, I went to buy a badminton racket, a dozen of shuttlecock and a jump rope. Sound like very healthy life right? I don't even have all these thing when I am in KL

All these thing cost me total RMB 250 (RM 125), cheap right? Well, the racket is not the famous brand, it is a brand name Victor, maybe you never heard it before. As the promoter recommend, unless you are pro prayer, and if you plan to buy a racket that more than RMB 1000, then should go to Yonex, else, Victor is good enough for a player, a beginner player like me. I'm convinced by this lady, she has very good serving attitude. Definitely I will go back to this shop next time for other sports need

过冬了

Received a call from a Malaysian girl here, ask me to go over her place for 'tong yuen', because today is 冬至

Ah.. ya.. I never remember when is this day in the year. In my family, my parents always said 过冬大过年, means this day is even more important than CNY. I don't know why, but it's something old people want us to remember we should have dinner together at this day.

I'm too far from home now, and luckily there is somebody willing to cook and ask me just go over and eat with her. Sometimes I feel I am quite lucky, the people around me do help and taking care of me always. As compare to them, I am quite cold blood sometimes, just like to keep alone instead of calling friends to come over my house.
Shame on me right? I am learning mah... Ii need more time ;-). I think I am really doing better as compare to last time liao

Wish you all having good time there

Oh ya.. if you want to know, the local people here actually not eating 'tong yuen' 汤圆, but they eat dumpling 饺子 instead. This is the North China culture, dumpling for big day.

finally.. it's a good news

I am feeling happy with the good news from home that there is nothing wrong with my dad liver, the happiness is really from deep inside. Thanks God it is really turn up as what I always pray for.

Since last few weeks when first medical checkup show that he might has very big risk of facing critical ill on liver, i was very very worry about him.
He is an alcoholic for many years, and drink those 'cheap ba lak' alcohol with damn high %.

No one can convince him to quit, even now, by knowing there is already problem with his liver, which already swollen, he still continue to drink. He has to do regular check-up every 3-6 months to keep monitoring it. I hope slowly he can drink less, and wont' give his liver much trouble.

...or you think I should challenge him by drink x 2 as what he drink everyday, see who kena sick first??

Back to Dalian from Amsterdam

2 weeks passed, i'm back to Dalian today. It take me abt 16 hours to travel from Ams to Dalian (flight time + waiting time), long long flight...

the only thing i can say 'interesting' about this trip is that, i got a chance to cycling around the city, just like the people there! the city center very small, 1 hr is more than enough, and amazing thing is.. you wont' feel tired! there is no climbing up and down.. just straight.. and you will feel cold with your hand and face, but body is very warm (or even feel a bit sweating), it is very shiok feeling ;)
Again... some photos to share

Traditional Dutch food bistro

The colleague in NL had treat 3 of us from China to one of the bistro located in the city area. This bistro is famous as with it's great environment, and the local food they serve.

I ordered the stamppot, with beef

And I am the only lady in the table, so I get this special treat from the bistro owner, sing with the dick...oppss.... no no.. sing with the pepper shaker made in Chinese, with nice picture on it :D, welcome to Amsterdam!
燈燈燈凳 ...咪眨眼啊哪

We have a great evening there, I really like this bistro style a lot. Where you can sing, laugh, talk with friends, and the owner never show you a face that you should leave after your meal. I actually hope I can have a small business like this, a place that can give people this kind of feeling

Landed in Ams

Landed at Amsterdam after 10 hours flight from Beijing, and check-in to a very nice apartment.

My room is at 3rd floor, I carry my luggage all along the stair case (very small foot steps) from the ground floor, and when reach my room, I found there is actually a lift!! I am really so stupid

And I had just remember that I forgot to bring my short pant.. will be very uncomfortable to sleep with jeans (i know you may suggest me not to wear anything, but i am not used to it woh.. feeling very 'unsecured'), and feeling sore-throat, hope it won't get worst, i must drink more and more water
