Weekend breakaway in Pune - Mahabaleshwar

It's about 3 hrs drive from Pune, a place that famous of it's mountain's view, strawberry and pleasant climates.

Along the way, saw a lot of gray hill, they told that these mountains will become green, and some with waterfall during the moon-soon season, yeah, that's why the India likes rain a lot!! It will change the scenery, also helps in their agriculture.

Overall feeling, I do enjoy the trip.
First scene came into sight, is the fun of parachute playing:

They call this view point, there are few view points here, each giving different angle of view to the mountains
at this valley, if u throw a bottle's cover, it is guarantee that it will NOT fall down to the valley, it will fly by the wind there, fun!

- the sand are in red color, i seldom see grass. It is either sand, or tree, or flower, but no grass. This is the reason it's very dusty in the non moon-soon season
the red sand

- this place is famous of strawberry, then make me think that it's not necessary need to be very chill like Cameron ?? Hmm.... too bad I don't like strawberry, so I can't tell the different between it.
the market

- the Indian temple does not restricted any visitor, but they are quite strict that you should leave your camera & camera mobile before enter the temple. Don't try to challenge them, bcoz they do have security guard (again!) to body checks on you at the temple entrance.

I took the chance to be the 'stranger' that follow the crowded to enter the temple, with bare foot. It is very clean inside the temple, no dust at all.
Queue to enter the temple

Oh ya, I mixed into the local culture very well today... I do pee in a public area bushes!!! What an exciting experience :D

Also, to be honest, I am quite scared while sitting in the car during the journey.
Along the way, there are 2 trucks flipped at the road side, everybody seems speeding without caring too much of road condition, there is driving 70-80 km/hrs even inside the tunnel, overtaking each other. Well, God bless us, we are just save from any un-wanted problem :)
