Let's go walk walk 踏青去 - Part 3 - Rain Forest in the Zoo

There is a fake rain forest in the zoo itself. This was build inside a 'house', you will feel warm when step into the house. The temperature could be 10 degree different with the outdoor, it has to 'create' the warm and humid environment so that the plants can survive.

One interesting thing happen when my colleague and her friends get know how the pineapple tree look like. They all very surprise it is 'grow from the land'!! They though it should be grow on a tree, because they see it is a lot of pineapples selling in the market, then it should be like something that can grow fast, 1 tree can has a lot of pineapple hang on it. I think this is make sense punya assumption, but sorry to tell, it is really 1 pineapple by 1 plant. Pleaes don't laugh at them, they are North people, and pineapple is only grow in the South area. This make them feel it is really worth to pay for the zoo entrance fee now!!

Oh ya.. I saw Bunga Raya in this house also, although it is not blooming yet lah. I introduce proudly to them: 这是大红花，马来西亚的国花 !!

Rain Forest
