Dear my fellow country-mate,
do you know how big is Malaysia?
do you know how big is the population in Malaysia?
do you know how big is Chinese population in Malaysia?
what language used when a Chinese meet Malay?
does Chinese go against other races?

Do you know all these??
These are the most popular questions I always got. To be frankly, I never has those figures in my mind... why should I memorize it?? Should I feel shame on myself??

Anyway, my answer to those questions usually are:
- not sure how big is Malaysia, just know it take about 6 hours drive from South to North, in a high way
- not sure how big is the population, but for sure it will never as big as in China, and sometime, I always tell it seems like 7 million(something I remember long time) ago)
- language we speak, as long as we can understand each other, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, English...

Welcome Spring!!

20th March is the first day of Spring (that's what I notice from Google image's tool tip). I am from a country where only has rain day and sunny day, this means nothing to me previously.

While I am now in a different place which has 4 season, maybe it's good time to appreciate the season change here!

Look at this busy aunt (local people like to use word 'ah1 yi2') planting flowers to welcome the Spring! I'm feeling good for the coming Spring as well, I imagine it would be greenish, beautiful flower, nice temperature, birds singing... ahh..welcome Spring!!

I want to make a rectangle flower garden...

Die lor.. no water leh

After gone thru damn stressful 2 weeks, though can have a good rest tonight, who know there is no water supply at home!!! OMG... what is this?? Damn bad day, damn bad luck

Heard it's because of the broken pipe, would be only recover by tomorrow noon,
I want to 'xu2 xu2' leh..

我的天啊。。。咋办呐???!!

Option 1: Go to hotel tonight
-> Too expensive, not my style

Option 2: Take cab, go to office
-> This would be the most expensive toilet fee I pay, but I can refresh a bit there also right...

Option 3: Go to friend place
-> I don't really have friend here lah.... make me feeling home sick only!

Option 4: Just go ahead 'xu xu'
-> Don't know my apartment-mate will get angry with me or not.... worry....

当'王'字遇上'皇'字

同事说，有个电视节目挺有意思，是关于中文字的, 节目里头说：

有一天，'王'字在路上遇上了'皇'字：

'王'字说：当皇上可真不容易啊，头发都白了。。

看, 够意思吧! 简单的一句话，就能很准确的说明了 '皇' 跟 '王' 的分别。

但我其实想加上一句，

'皇'字应该说：小王你也不容易啊，头发都掉光啦 :D

A weekly call back to home

Make a call back to home today, my sister was so excited to tell about the 12th General Election result in Malaysia. A lot of 'wah...you know ah..', 'this time this xxx die lor...', 'this semi value ah.. loose already..', 'this 'aeroplane' party (she always confused about the rocket and airplane.... :D) has make a big success..', even the place she stay currently also overtaken by the opposition party.

But when I ask her, did you went to vote then?? She cleverly pretend like doesn't hear me clearly... so, we are same same bad Malaysian.

To be honest, I am quite happy with the result, especially when get known those newbie, but has very strong analyst and opinion on how to make our society better has win the battle. This is very good news. I always believe, no matter which party is in charge, as long as we have a fair and wise government, then I will be very happy already. .

Anyway, I am not a good politic observer and criticizer, better not make too much noice .. I will just keep my vote to the one I believe they will fight for better future :p

So, let's hope for better tomorrow. Hope the new government will not assign any minister that like to make joke, some more stupid jokes that laugh by the world.
