猪要回家过年咯 - Going back on CNY 2008

是的，现在的猪，除了数日子，还是数日子。。。下周日就启程回家过年咯，想到就暗爽，TMD爽爽爽!!!

I am counting down for the day to be home for CNY...it's still 7 days to come.. it's fast .. to be honest, I feel very 'shiok' about this :D

Mahjong in North East China 东北人的麻将

A colleague invited few of us go to her house to spend the weekend, she cook, and we play, that's the plan ;)

We spend quite long time at her house, and to pass time, gambling is something 'must do', and mahjong is one of the game that can easily pass time. Not playing with any real money, they like to 'punish' people when someone has loose. For e.g. sing a song, make a jokes.. anything.. I was so worry every time finding out who is the looser.. simply bcoz I cannot sing, cannot dance, I can do nothing lah !! Finally I tell them I drink beer when I loose, and luckily my luck is quite good that day :p

Back to the Mahjong game, found it's different from what we had in MY. They claim this is the easiest rules to play with, I also think the same after few round。

Here are some the rules:
- It is 4 person game.
- Dun need to count 'fan' 翻
- No 'flower' 花
- 'Zhung' 中, 'Fa' 发, 'Bai' 白板, is useless, cannot 'peng' 碰, only 'gong' 贡 (not sure is this in Mandarin, those matched for 4) or used as the 'eyes' 对眼
- Must 'kai men' 开门. 'kai men' means has to either 'peng' 碰, 'gong' 贡, or 'lian' 连, that can 'show' it on the desk.
- Dun have 'tian hu' 天糊 concept, can't 'hu' 糊 if there is no 'kai men' 开门
- 'bao' 宝: remain 'pai' 牌 after each person got their 'pai' 牌 after dice. The remain would be make as 'bao'. When any one is waiting for game, can check if this 'bao' is what they want
- Could happen no game: 11 blocks must be remain, if no one win the game before these blocks, the game consider no lose-no win

learn: tu men 突门
- a trick used to 'kai men' 开门. For e.g. I has 1-2-3 on hand, but I am not 'kai men' 开门 yet, when the person before me put the 2 out, i will use get that 2, and put out my 2, simply exchange the same number, same pattern to make myself 'kai men' 开门

how to game:
1. Must 'kai men' 开门
2. Must has all pattern, 万，筒，索子
3. Must has at least 3 same 'pai' 牌, for e.g 1万-1万-1万, 1 'lian pai' 连牌, for e.g. 4-5-6
4. Must has either number 1 or 9 for the whole set.

The one waiting for game, can have look at the 'bao' 宝 to check if it is the one he can win the game. After look at it, he cannot change his 'pai' 牌 anymore, means next time, 'mo' 摸 whatever 'pai' 牌 has to put whatever 'pai' 牌 out, until he game

Also, there is a bit different how they call the pattern:
wan 万 - wan 万
tong 筒 - bing 饼, China 'sao bing' 烧饼, in round shape
suo 索 - tiao 条

I believe if you know Mahjong, you would understand this easily, else, this would be non-sense to you. Sorry that I have not much interesting topic recently

A frend point me to the word closer to this word in English, and from there finally found the correct word ;)

Tried to get English words for this using Google translate, but I think it is not very accurate.

This was what I seen from my window a day after snow, can imagine how cold is it?? It happen when the ice melt, and before melt to water, get 'cold' until it has this shape 'hang' on the wall...

This is not my new year wish, why is it happen??

Part 2: So how? send to repair shop?
Yes, I send to local repair shop, but they told since this model is not available in CN, they will need to send to the HQ to check if it can be repair, and if insist want to use back the original part, it could be end up send to HQ, after 1 month, the bag is still NOT repair!! Tell me what is this global guarantee ?? So, conclusion I will take it back to MY for repair, wish it can be fixed before my trip back then.

I though my bad luck will be gone together with year 2007, but this 2nd day of 2008 tell me that, it's too early to be happy :(

First, I forgot to lock my laptop in the office, then the security guard has taken my laptop during lunch hour. This means my name has been recorded, dun know if violate how many time, the co. has right to release me (means 'chao yao yu')

Then, on my way to home, suddenly my laptop backpack rosak. This was the gift from friends, it cost them quite a lot of money for it, feeling unbelievable it spoiled so fast, it's not even 3 months. whua~~~ what 'sui san' is going after me??
